Leading the Padel Academy coaching team is Manuel Murteira, a passionate and highly qualified padel coach with 9 years’ experience. At 34 years old, Manuel brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to our academy. Originally trained in events, marketing and advertising, Manuel has dedicated himself to the sport of Padel since 2014, both as a player and a coach.
His background includes a level 1 coaching certification from the Portuguese Padel Federation (FPP) and specialized training with some of the most respected names in the sport, including Bruno Aguiar and Juan Manuel Rodriguez. Manuel has also taken part in several training courses led by Máximo Castellote in Madrid, further honing his skills and techniques.
Manuel’s deep connection to the Alentejo coast, a region he has cherished since childhood, inspired his decision to move here and lead Padel SW. His mission is to foster a thriving padel community on the Alentejo coast, bringing his experience and passion to all the players he coaches.
